Language Software and Wordfinder

Yak-Yak is a computer program for language training, and language assistance. It is used by individuals, in schools, and in institutions.

As a rule, users make remarkable progress from the first day. Even someone who can't read or write at all, given proper instruction. Surprising, yes. But the reason is simply that Yak-Yak has the right technologies for it, such as computer speech, and our new word finding methods.

The software is, in fact, an entirely new tool to deal with certain problems. A newspaper headline compared it to what eye-glasses can do for you, if you need them.

Yak-Yak has been extensively tested, by a wide range of users, in real-life situations.

Who may benefit from using it?

Some user experiences and press reports.

The user workspace is a simple, calm environment dedicated to writing. It is easily adapted to individual needs, and each user may choose a preferred language for his personal workspace. Everything can be spoken by excellent synthetic voices - also text the user is preparing. Given instruction, users do not need to know computers beforehand.

How does it work?

Why was it created?

You can try the Wordfinder on this web-site.

The software as such does not imply training, or treatment. But Yak-Yak is a useful tool for educators and therapists, as well as for private individuals. It comes with a manual, which explains in detail how to use it.
