Users of the Yak-Yak Language Processor often get very good results, and quickly. In the Rockridge Report (download here), you may have seen the magnificent texts written by some students with dyslexia. Maybe you've also wondered about the software and how this language technology is taught by the Yak-Yak instructors. Well, listen here.

Solana Larsen, Yak-Yak instructor from London (UK), has been in charge of the Vancouver pilot project. The initial results are described in the Rockridge Report. The project has since expanded to include several schools in the district. She explains how she helps students with dyslexia to excel.
People often ask, jokingly of course, if there is magic hidden inside the Yak-Yak software. Not at all, says the co-developer Dan Larsen in this interview. The Language Processor is just software, but developed especially to improve reading and writing. When you use it correctly, you get these amazing results - even with dyslexia or as a struggling ESL student.
