English Wordfinder
The Wordfinder can handle very difficult searches. No part of your word has to be correctly spelled. If a part seems missing, insert a period ("."). There is no use for * and such.
Scope
All commonly used English words and phrases. It also has many compound words. Names of people and places are not included at present.
- Basic English - the most frequently used words, heard every day on radio and TV.
- Most common words - plus ten times as many words that are merely used sometimes.
- All common words - plus a huge number of rare words.
- Expressions - some phrases which are an essential part of the English language.
